Elisabeth is a married mother of 2 young children and has special training in health care for infants/children, pregnant woman and woman and men with fertility concerns.Dr. Bastos has a Baccalaureate in BioMedical Science from Guelph University and graduated from the 4 year Naturopathic Medical program at theCanadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Toronto). In addition, she has travelled to India for extra training in Homeopathic Medicine, including training with world renowned Dr. Sankaran, and his Homeopathic Research and Charities group in India, and Dr. Ullman.She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors,the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors andthe Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors since 2004 (a group dedicated to building expertise in children's health care and health around pregnancy, fertility and labour). In addition, Dr. Bastos is a candidate for accreditation as an International Board Certified Lactation consultant (IBCLC) and has lectured to health care professionals on topics of breast health, nutrition and perinatal concerns.Help for most of your health concerns is available. Elisabeth founded the Natural Care Family Clinic in 2005 and has since been awarded Diamond in 2008, Gold in 2009 and Platinum in 2010 for Best Naturopathic Clinic and Gold in 2009 and 2010 for Best Naturopathic Doctor in the Cambridge Times Reader's choice awards.
